The word "curry" is an Indian word derived from the term kari (or karil), which in southern India refers to the spices used in certain typical dishes. It is a blend of aromatic spices mixed together, and there are many variations depending on the production region, but cumin, chili, and turmeric are always present. It is turmeric that gives this vibrant color. Sambava Épices has selected and blended, according to an ancestral recipe, a total of 13 spices from all over Madagascar, creating a unique blend in the world of spices.

Because it is a blend of spices, curry benefits from all the "good" elements of the spices it is made from: it is an antioxidant, an intestinal disinfectant, a digestive aid, and a metabolic regulator. Due to the presence of pepper, it should be used in moderation when treating gastritis.
An excellent seasoning for rice, pasta, fish, and white meats, but we all know the delicious and simple recipe for chicken curry, served with rice. It is recommended to toast the curry in a pan before adding the ingredients to bring out the flavors.
